Founded in 1878 in Bremen with an own roasting plant, F. Cornelius Klipp had been taken over several times until in 1996 the brand rights were taken over by Drie Mollen Holding.Drie Mollen Holding is a coffee company founded in The Netherlands in 1818. Their main activities include marketing, production and sales in six European countries. Drie Mollen group has become one of the largest coffee roasters in Europe and has achieved a leading position within private label over the recent years.

Utz Certified
Utz ("good" in Maya language) is a worldwide certification program for responsible coffee production and sourcing. Coffee producers with an Utz certification comply with the Utz Certified Code of Conduct, an internationally recognized set of criteria for socially and environmentally appropriate coffee growing practices and efficient farm management, traceability and food safety. Utz Certified links buyers and sellers by means of a unique "track-and-trace" system from farm to cup.Utz Kapeh provides roasters with the assurance of responsible coffee production and provides opportunities to credibly demonstrate this to their consumers.
Rainforest Alliance
The mission of the Rainforest Alliance is to protect ecosystems and the people and wildlife that depend on them by transforming land-use practises, business practises and consumer behaviour. Participants in the programs of the Rainforest Alliance meet rigorous standards linked to the mission.The eco label guarantees that the coffee was grown on farms that meet demanding social and environmental standards as verified by experienced inspectors. The standards ensure that forests are protected, rivers, soils and wildlife conserved, workers treated with respect, paid fairly, properly equipped and given access to education and medical care. The standards cover the critical social, environmental and economic issues, and participating farms are on the path towards true sustainability.
Fairtrade Label
Fairtrade supports organizations of small farmers in developing countries enabling them to build up a human life by their own strength. By more fair trade relations the peoples'essential conditions of life are to be improved, domestic economy to be strengthened and in the long term unfair structures of world economy are to be removed.Fairtrade guarantees that the coffee farmers obtain a minimum price exceeding the world market level and by this not only production costs are covered and the subsidence level is protected but also some investments in education and health programs are possible.
BIO (Eco) Label
The BIO label marks foodstuff from organic farming. For only producers and manufacturers who comply with the provisions of the EU Organic Farming Regulation and are willing to pass the mandatory inspections may sell their products as organic or eco goods and label them accordingly with the "Eco Label".Organic farming, nursing and harvest of coffee are mainly done by manual work. This kind of coffee is grown without any chemical/synthetic fertilizer at all.
